Just connected to mains water after 30 years of living in Benissa.

No idea of cost of water, how much you can use, how often are you invoiced, general info would be most helpful thanks.

Water bills are sent quarterly. Cost is around 55 euro per quarter and you are allowed to use a lot of water before the price increases. If you have large gardens with permanent, automatic watering or a large swimming pool you need to top up on a regular basis then the price will increase.

The bill comes in 2 parts, the variable part which is the amount of water and sewerage cost and the fixed part which covers fees supplies and taxes

Each municipality sets its 3 tiers (bloque) of water usage, We have never exceeded the amount of bloque 1 and our last bill was 52 euro which includes an extra 4.30 for recovery of sewerage charges after they'd reduced them during Covid and the financial aspects.

Our normal bill, we have garden watering but no pool, is around 50 euro a quarter. Each tier goes up depending on how much water you use.

Almost two thirds of the bill is for fees, taxes and provision of services.
