getting about in Javea and Los cerezos
Hiya,
My husband and 2 kids (aged 14 and 12) are staying in Los Cerezos. We don't want to hire a car as we have such busy lives (and it's expensive!) but are wondering whether we will be able to use public transport/ walk (or a combination of the 2) to get about? Have googled and I can see it's a 6 km walk to Javea which will be too far in the heat (and I'm not sure whether the roads are too dangerous to walk along). We are reasonably fit and don't have an agenda (except to get to the beach in the morning) and to get to shops to buy food. The idea is to have a really relaxing holiday and not feel obliged, because we've hired a car, to visit everywhere.
Also, are there places to hire cars in Javea if we decide that we are too remote (or the kids are bored!)
