HelloWe plan to come over second part January and before we left in October noticed a bat flew in house and possibly one fell down into log burner which wasn't on. We think may have an infestation but obviously don't want to possibly harm any nest but Ned to get removed. Any recommendations please. TIA. Brenda

I hope they are gone when you arrive, as bats are a protected species in most countries including Spain.

Best of luck.

Hi,

I think your best bet is to contact your ayuntamiento ( local town hall) and ask their advice on what to do next. I'm sure they'll point you in the right direction.

I wouldn't, they will probably give the bats more rights than the owner.
