considering buying our forever home in Bigastro.  We already live in Spain about 20km away.  Seems like a nice little town.  Any thoughts from those who live there please?

Hello , we live on villas Andrea in bigastro and have been here 3 years , it’s a unique urbanisation with a great community . The town is a typical Spanish town. Not pretty but has everything you need . If you want peace and quiet come to bigastro , we love it

Thank you, Linda.   Sounds like it is the lifestyle that we are looking for.   We have a second viewing on a property tomorrow, so fingers crossed.

Had our second viewing and the property is very tempting.  Been doing my research about the town and concerned to learn about horrendous flooding in 2019.  Very difficult to find historical information  and the aftermath.  And what if anything is being done to remedy flood prevention in the future.  Would appreciate experiences and thoughts please.

Hi, we brought a house in Bigastro last August and we were due to move in permanently in June 2020, but because of the Covid, we had to postponed it.  We move now on the 4th December.  I would recommend it.  The people are friendly and there is a real mix.  I am counting down the weeks until we get there.  We went for there because of the Spanish town and near to anything you want. hope this helps
