Hi to everyone here,

After visits to the Costa Blanca to find a holiday home (for now) and a more permanent home for the future, we have settled on the El Campello area as our favourite place along the coast. From there, and to find the type of property in our price range and that we feel would suit us in the future, we have decided to buy around the Busot area. We are currently particularly interested in a property at Los Pastores. We have also viewed other properties at Pisnella, Pla De Lloma, Hoya de los Patos and Bonalba Alta.

I'd appreciate anyone sharing any information they may have with regard to any future plans in the Busot area for infrastructure such as shops, public transport, roads, and building developments etc. It would also be good to hear any general comments and advice on the area (both good and bad).

As far as I can tell, Los Pastores has no shops or public transport links and a broken down car would therefore leave you very isolated unless you can do the 2 mile or so walk to the CV-773 road to pick up a bus back to one of the local towns with facilities and services (such as Muxtamel or El Campello) !

In an ideal world someone would message me back with an attachment showing the plans for a new 24 hour Carrefour supermarket within the Urbanisation Los Pastores, the new tram station next door with a 10 minute ride to El Campello  and as a result the property prices will double over the next 12 months ! I'm obviously joking with this comment but any advice or information in relation to known future plans would be greatly appreciated.

If you've got this far, thank you for reading my post and I hope to hear from you with ANY information, advice or comments you feel may help with the future plans for myself and my family.

Hi, When i bought in Spain i purchased 2 plots of land 1 on Los Platos Busot and 1 on Coveta Fuma El Campello and if you are hoping for transport links and or Supermarkets in Busot forget it, you have more hope of hell freezing over, i took advice from people in the know and because the building costs where the same i went for building on Coveta, not only do we have a small supermarket within walking distance we are also round the corner from a tram station, if you do not have your own transport in Busot you are very cut off

We have recently purchased our house in Busot on urb Pla Lloma. We rented for 5 months in Pastores, but feel it was not for us. Pl Lloma is closer to Busot village. We look over mountains, and is glorious.

We also have friends in Los Gatos,, which is also nice.

Busot has a doctor's, chemist, village grocery store, a couple of nice restaurants. But if you want to travel 10 minutes by car, there is everything.

We absolutely love it, we spent a lot of time looking, and chose north of Alicante instead of south.

Happy to help if we can

Regards

John Archer

Hi John,

We're familar with Pla de Lloma and spent ages looking around there but as much as we liked the area, there were no houses for sale there that we felt were suitable for us. On our most recent visit, we did actually find a small road that cuts through from Pastores to Pla de Lloma (although I don't think we'd be comfortable taking this road on in the dark).

I don't know Los Gatos John - can you give me an idea where that is in relation to Busot so I can try to find it on a map.

Thanks for your help.

HI, sorry to dig up an old post, but how did the move go? Did it happen?

We are in a surprisingly similar situation to you, and would love to hear how you are getting on in Busot.

How does it compare to Busot? It seems quite a bit smaller, maybe less facilities?

I will get in and have a look in June, but curious on peoples views.
