I am considering moving to the urbanisation Hoya de los Patos. I have visited a couple of times and have viewed a couple of properties there but wondered if anyone could give any advice on what all year round living is like there. I’m a single man aged 56. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Stevan

I have friends who lived there for 15 years, and they love it . Its a 5 minute drive to the village of Busot. In the centre there is a park area, and located there is a great Spanish Bar, where they have an English quiz once a week in aid of the BARC dog charity. They have several things that go on through the year, and the food and staff are very good.

Sorry i can`t give you anymore info, as we only visit it once a week, but it does seem to be one of the better areas (not that there are any bad ones)

Good luck

Regards

Hi John,

thankyou for taking the time to reply. Any advice/info is appreciated. Yes, I have been to the bar. Was wondering if there are many all year round residents on this urbanisation ?

Hi All

We came here in March the 12th to be exact and went into lockdown on the 14th the rest is history. We came here to tour the area between Alacante and Denia on a 6 month rental and been stuck in doors like everyone since. So trying to find our forever home is somewhat difficult. Busot, Pina Camverde, and Benitataxel? All sound what we are looking for ie walking to shops, restaurants and bars without having to drive is very important.

So my question is where can I find these towns and villages. Pina Camve and Busot sound great reading tourist reports.

Local knowledge would be great.

Regards

Spencer
