Having recently purchased an apartment in Lomas de Cabo Roig, I am disappointed that the walk to Cabo Roig and La Fuente are so dangerous. Cars and bicycles are well catered for but pedestrians take their lives in their hands. There is no reason why the paths cannot be widened for most of the way although the part down to Cabo Roig over the motorway poses a problem. Are there any plans in the pipeline?

Hi waglet66, I've just arrived a month ago to lomas de cabo roig and I feel like I'm playing chicken crossing that flaming bridge to the strip haha, apparently they are supposed to be building a footbridge across so fingers crossed it will happen 🤞but this is spain so I wouldn't hold your breath lol x

Totally disgusted with the lack of this lot doing anything out here they get loads in taxes and spend most in Orihuela city

Really annoys me that is so dangerous

Just like the beach bars this lot are useless

This has been going on for over 10 years now!  Every so often there is a demo and write ups in the press but so far nothing. Maybe if everyone emailed the town hall it might help? Would at least make them start thinking about t!

There is a residents group for Lomas de Cabo Roig who have been trying to get action of this - I am sure there will be Spanish speakers amongst them, try joining them.

Quite a few press reports in local papers over time, especially on the footpath issue - maybe try searching on Lomas de Cabo Roig residents group!

Hi Ellie maybe, could you tell me how to get in touch with the residents group? I'm buying a property in Lomas de Cabo Roig now. Thanks
