Hi,

I need to visit Bankinter to pay a bill. Can I just turn up, or do I need to make an appointment?

Sorry if this is a newbie question.

Thanks

I assume like all other Spanish banks if it is a day to day transaction such as paying a bill, you just turn up. Some banks allow and encourage you to pay some bills through their on site ATMs.

I think some banks only allow you to pay bills before 11.00am

You’ll need the cashier service in the bank, which is usually mornings only.

I use the branch in Doña Pepa and the cashier is available up till noon. The banks operate a skeleton service until after Three Kings so there may be a bit of a queue.

You can use most ATM’s to pay bills, scan in the bar code and then insert your card to pay.
