Anyone tell me if they have a problem accessing the Caixa app?  They want my digital signature which seems to be a 6 number code.   It’s part of the security and they then text a code to enter which I do but my password (or pin no) doesn’t work.   This I believe is the only number I know.

Thank you for any help..

I had the same problem, the quickest and best solution is to pop into your branch and they will sort it. Take your Passport or N.I.E whatever you used as I.D when you registered with them. If unsure take both.

Best if you make an appointment (if you can) otherwise they may turn you away. After they helped me gain access to the app I was told to make an appointment via the app. Very hard to do if you cant use the damn app.

When I had problems with logging into the app, I telephoned on numerous occasions and got cut off after so many rings, I then emailed but received no reply so If I were you I would go as soon as they open in the morning.

I hope this helps.

The problems all seemed to start when they updated the app last year some time. They then barred access via the original app, which had worked perfectly.

I eventually managed to update my password online, which theoretically gives me access, the problem is that half the time the current app takes several attempts to open and it is impossible to log out of it without closing down iPad completely and switching off. I think the app may be problematic with iOS systems.

Hi.  For me the app has been fine but they decided to ask for a digital signature to verify who I am and for the life of me have no idea what combination of numbers this is.  Its not my password (PIN number) and I can’t remember setting this up as I normally take a note of everything.

Thank you for the response..

When I moved over to the new App all went smoothly, the digital signature is the 6 digit number that you used on the Bankia to set up new payments or authorise payments etc. If you did not use this facility on the Bankia App then you will need to visit the bank as advised, my husband was in this position when the App changed over, so I know from both perspectives.

Hi,

I assume this is different from the 6 digit password used to Login.  If so I haven’t set one up and have been in the bank since and they never mentioned doing  so.

Thanks

I know.  I have a little sigh of relief every time I either successfully log into the app or able to withdraw money using my card. Something we take for granted in the UK.

I went in to the branch and they gave me a print out of my digital number. I use my finger print to log in but was told I needed this number to prove who I am. I was a bit sarcastic when I went in and asked how many were using my fingerprint.
