I think your only option if you have no NIE and address in Spain would be to get a dongle or Spanish pay as you go with phone and tethering.

Hi Elaine

The cost of data here in the Costa Blanca is expensive,

Certainly the data packages are not the same, as offered at home.

I recommend using a 3 All you Can Eat UK Data card... this was £20.00 when I last used it in April this year.

You are limited to 12GB of data per 28 days but from my property on the strip, I getting very good 3G download/upload speeds.

The 3 sim latches onto Mobilstar.

You can also ring back to UK Free for 600 minutes and voicemail is part of your allowance.

It serves its purpose for me... hope this gives you another option.

Anna

You CAN sign up for a service without at NIE card - I did.  Unfortunately it is with Telitec...which has horrible

 service.

We have a house in Pego and have NIE numbers. Currently using a dongle but need to bite the bullet and get broadband/WiFi in the house. Any recommended providers?

Andrew.
