Renting an apartment in Cabo Roig for 6 months which only has Spanish TV.   Was told that we could stream English TV via a laptop onto the TV Screen.  Anybody know how to do it or someone who could do it for us?

If your laptop has a HDMI output, and your TV has a HDMI input, then you need a HDMI cable, and then you can use the TV as a second screen for your laptop.

You then go to whatever site / app to watch UK TV. If you want tv from the offical broadcasters, like via iPlayer, then you will need a VPN (like https://go.nordvpn.net/aff_c?aff_id=39389 )  or Smart DNS ( https://www.smartdnsproxy.com/?afid=b31e53d8756f - 14 day free trial!)-service to hide the fact you are trying to access UK only content from outside the UK.

Or you use a "third party" service, free or paid, to get the content you want, such as TVMucho mentioned above

I watch English tv on my iPad. I just subscribe to an English vpn. It’s very simple and not expensive. I’m not tech savvy at all

I also use TVMucho which is a paid for service. I pay €48 annually which includes catch up and you don't need to install a VPN. You will need a fairly strong WIFI signal though.

There are some illegal apps that are good if you want a free service.

Thanks.  Unfortunately, the TV doesn't have an HDMI input.  Will have to use one of the other suggestions.
