Initiallly I think it's for 14 days, presumably something to do with the incubation period, but it's a virtual given that it will go on for longer and maybe for several weeks, nobody can say for sure.

If it's any indication UK are saying that the over 70's could be told to stay at home for up to 4 months!

Lockdown is definitely until March 30th but could be extended if the number of new cases hasn't fallen. I understand that people who have to go out in their car for food, medicine or to support relatives, should only have one person in the vehicle unless there are good reasons why you are carrying passengers. Seems to make sense.
