Ok. In the Lucky Lion at Playa Golf in Cabo Roig tonight.

Everyone was behaving themselves except the owners mother and friend who though it ok to sit in the middle of all of the tables and within 30cm of ours smoking.

When we complained the owners response was “she’s my mother” as if that meant the rules did not apply.

To make matters worth the “mother” started sticking her fingers up at the end of the England v Denmark game shouting “f******English” so clearly also some racism there as well.

Have photo evidence of Covid breaches. Hopefully someone can tell me how to report fully.

Hi Danny

Welcome to the forum!

I can’t help with reporting the covid breaches. Maybe other members can.

There’s always someone for whom the rules don’t apply isn’t there. I hope it didn’t spoil your night, but I’m guessing it did ☹️

Let’s just say “it’s comin home, it’s comin home” and celebrate. I won’t embarrass you by asking what nationality the mother was, with her “encouragement” of the England team. After listening to a radio chat show earlier today, here in the U.K., I think I could make an educated guess. So small minded 🤪🥂

Just out of curiosity. What do you hope to achieve by reporting them?

Hit the owner where it hurts by taking your custom elsewhere?

Hello

Absolutely agree Steve, if a phone call to report it could mean a' pop in' visit from local police or G.C. great -  otherwise...vote with your feet & go elsewhere & hope that like minded others, who care about safety,  will follow.

Cheers

Covid regulations still apply so the lady in question should have been fined as well as the bar owners.

It’s a breach of regulations so the police should have been involved. It would make me question if the bar are following all the other regulations.

So sad to see rules not being followed especially when the bars probably had their busiest evening in 16 months.

I guess you’re going elsewhere to watch the final I know I would.

Very well said Martyn.

If you have any concern at all about the Covid risk to yourself, or catching any other infectious disease, then don't go to a crowded bar.

I do not believe that it is right that a business owner should allow anyone to flout the rules which endangers everyone.  That the person doing so was her own family member and friends is even worse.  Are you happy with people breaking the rules endangering others?

There is a difference going to a bar and knowing the dangers than going to a bar where the only people breaking the rules endangering others is the owners family.  Everyone else followed the rules.

So to be clear though you would be happy with someone breaking the rules endangering others and you would also break the rules?
