My point exactly. Filling out a report for something that isn't going to change a thing is a waste of everyone's time.

People who continually meddled in others affairs ,used to be called busy bodies back in the day ,I suppose it must have.been like that in 1930s Germany  when Hitler came to power, people were encouraged to snitch on their neighbours  especially it they were Jewish a dangerous precedent ,personally not in favour live and let live is my motto

So happy if you or your family get CV19 and die I presume as you see no problem with them breaking the rules?

John 52. Does this attitude apply to all laws or are you selective? If a drink driver crosses to your side of the road and crashes into you do you decide not travel on that road? If you are assaulted and suffer brain damage, do you refuse to return. If you are ripped off, do you accept the loss a...

...nd refuse to go back? Or like most normal people do you seek to change behaviour and seek retribution? Laws are there to regulate behaviour and provide retribution. If you want to accept the bad behaviour of others and move on that is your right. However it allows that bad behaviour to be perpetuated. Eventually this leads to a situation where everyone is subjected to unacceptable behaviour. Only my opinion.

Big difference between going to a bar, especially during a football match when most people are there to get drunk and drink driving, theft or assault.

john 52. Unfortunately that is not the situation, To suggest that a person who reports a breach of a national law is the same as someone reporting someone of a different ethnicity, which, incidentally, at the time was not illegal, is abhorrent. It is apparent from your comments that you do not approve of people who uphold the rule of law. Live and let live is an admirable ethos. However, that attitude, allows others to break the law which protects us all equally and is the way of anarchy.

What the difference between breaking the law though? Are some laws to be ignored?

Just my thoughts - I have never been to the Lucky Lion and I an not Irish (the LL is a Irish Bar) but I do find it a bit strange that someone joins  the forum and their first post is a story that rubbishes the bar without any independent evidence that what is being said about the bar is correct.

Yes some laws should be ignored whats legal in some countries may not be in others. I guarantee everyone, youself included has broken the law at some point weather its accidental or deliberate

Hi aitch

Surely we’re not moving to a position that we’re not believing what a member posts without “independent evidence”?

The OP didn’t mention it was an Irish bar, just that he felt the mother’s remarks were “racist”

Why should we not accept his account without question?

There have been some very obvious fairy stories, in the past admittedly, posted on the forum, that were accepted without question.

Regardless of topic, should we not just accept the OP has posted a truthful account of his experience? 🤪🥂

I have been reading posts on this forum for a while, this was my first.  Like many people I asked a question about how to report something. Others have used it for instance to ask about where to find flow tests etc.

I have the evidence thanks and you can see it on TripAdvisor.

Then I guess we are different. Personally I have never knowingly broken a law, especially one brought in in extreme circumstances to allow an economy to reopen whilst keeping people safe
