Is anyone still waiting for their exchange driving licence to be received.
we did our medical and paid for exchange in Rojales through Uma at Getlegalinspain on 13th November but still have not received our Spanish licences. I have tried to contact aunt without response .

Mine took 3-4 months to arrive albeit through a different company. This was in mid 2019 so the backlog wouldn't have been as bad as it is now.

Uma sorted mine last September and I received my Spanish licence within 6 weeks, although Uma said it may take 3 months, the only thing I was disappointed with was the loss of most of my driving categories! This I was not informed about by Uma, I am waiting for the influx of driving licence exchanges to slow down and to reapply to get them back!! So I would imagine that the dgt and dvla are really busy with exchanges at this present time and perhaps that’s the reason why you are still waiting. Good luck, stay safe and healthy my friend.

Try this online checker, insert your nie number, date of birth - it should give you the status. We used Uma and she collected ours, as we don't trust the post - it took about 3 months though.

Just tried this link which came back with message that my licence exchange has been in process since August 2020, but I didn’t start the process in Rojales with Uma until November 2020 , my husbands seems correct, it says in process December 2020, any idea what’s going on with this please ?

Sorry Mags can't help, the portal just seems to be a link to a database and the latest state linked to your NIE is returned. The final state is "sent to post office" or "..........correos" in Spanish.

Maybe get a screen shot and mail it to Uma?

Hope you are feeling better :)

Thank you for that Lancelot.

Hi, when I tried the link for myself and hubby both stated posted to Correos on 15/2/21

We haven’t received them yet so will wait another week and then try again. I was told however to try calling DGT on 060 to enquire by phone so maybe you could try that.

Did successfully pick up TIE’s and registered S1 forms today so at least that part’s finished now.
Good luck and stay safe
