I have also been in Cabo Roig a month and have made enquiries with a view to finding friends, have found an aqua class who is also going to reopen her Pilates class in September and joined a ladies who lunch around Villa Martin but I suppose it depends on your age and likes

 Costa Female Friendship Circle is on Facebook and you can become a member. There are organised activities, coffee morning meet ups etc. All quite informal and friendly. 

We have an apartment in Lomas de Campoamor, just up the road from you, but are unfortunately stuck over in the UK at the moment.

Hi Lucy that would be great. Tonight I'm going across the road to my neighbours for kebabs but nothing else organised at all. Did I say I'm in Monte Zenia ? And have a little car but just starting to drive on the wrong side of the road !!! What area are you in and we can get something organised ? Luv Sue

Hiya Lucy. I think I recognise where you are. I've only been permanently in Spain since mid August last year. Monte Zenia is a bit of a pain to find. A lot of my new furniture almost didn't find me ! It's inland from La Zenia. I can walk to the beach there but its a bit of a trek. To find it in google maps you have to input monte zenia MZ11. Its about 10 mins drive to Villa Martin and I can walk to the Boulevard in about 20 mins. Everyone has trouble finding it. I think the MZ11 is the key. Anyway hope your weekend has been ok ? I've been completely lazy today. I think the rain set me off ! Just about to check everything's good after the downpour. Very sorry to hear about your husband. It must've been a massive blow for you. Back again. Got several jobs to do Monday but the rest of the week is clear. Had friends from uk arrive , staying in Villa Martin and I'll catch them 1 day this week but definitely nothing organised so far. So if you have a preference that's fine. Cheers x
