Algorfa
Could are ask for an opinion on Algorfa as a town, maybe to live.
Thanks.
We live in walking distance to Algorfa - as our nearest Spanish large village/ small town it offer's us a few things we don't have on La Finca. Conversely La Finca is 30 mins walk or 5 mins in the car and you have the need for expat community.
The town hall seems small and friendly - getting on the padron and applying for digital certificates was very easy.
There's a few bars and restaurants along with a town square.
There's a Sabadell cash point, which is sometimes offline but does work when I assume they put money in it. A small Correos which opens for an hour a day. Butchers, bakers, Tien21 - for electrical items (tv, fridge, etc). Dentists/ Hairdressers/ small Chinese "market" shop. There's also a very small street market on Wednesday we saw about 5 - 10 stalls there but enough to get the essentials maybe.
You'd likely need transport and Almoradi is just a short journey away where you'll have access to a larger town and street market on Saturday (don't know if it's on any other days).
Appreciate the above isn't exhaustive.
