Hi we will be staying beach side quite near the bottom of the strip ( i think its Dehesa de Campoamor) i believe there is more than one beach we can go to Are they easy to find ? Any directions would be helpful or even a local street map ive tried to look on google can find the road names on the map below Thankyou
Hi
If you don't get a helpful reply on here, you could try going into the local town hall (Ayuntamiento) or any tourist office. They should have maps of the area. Ask at the desk as most of them will have maps and the tourist office should be able to mark on the best beaches for you.
Hope this helps.
Thanks jan i will look for these yes a local map will be very useful

You can get good maps of the area at the Information stand in the main Plaza of Zenia Boulevard, they cover the Costa and feature the main beaches, the stand is staffed by friendly English speaking staff who will be only too happy to help you.
Thanks john 56 can i ask if we do the coastal walk to zenia does it bring us to the boulevard area or are we better to walk or by bus ..... so many questions seems theres a lot to do spoilt for choice !

If you do the coastal walk from the end of the Cabo Roig strip where the Thursday Market is it takes you to the main LaZenia beach and on round to Plays Flamenca beach. At the main LaZenia beach there is a street that takes you straight up to the roundabout on the N332 near Paddy's Point Pub and the Consum supermarket. Zenia Boulevard would be a further twenty minutes walk if you are still able to make this walk you can then get a taxi at the Boulevard, but if you have had enough walking there is a taxi rank at the roundabout I mentioned earlier.

thanks yes think a taxi would be in order after the coastal walk
The coastal walk is lovely and approx 20-25 mins to la zenia, then from la zenia as john says it's straight up all the way approx another 15-20 mins from beach to boulevard. I walked la zenia coast to Cabo, then back again, up to the boulevards then back down to my place near the n332 in la zenia. It was a fab walk, however, that was in January so this time of year may be a lot more exerting in the heat...but hey, it's spain, no rush anywhere and lots of watering holes.....make a day of it. Taxi to Cabo from la zenia is approx 6-7euro.
