Now, how did you know which is my favourite malt? Perhaps we both share the same good taste and discernment!

Laphroaig is a single malt scotch whisky. Extremely balanced, characteristic and exuberant whisky. Heritage of Islay and the legacy of their master distillers. Very much similar as DYK  isn´t!!!!. JAJAJA.

I know the system. Vocabulary.com Dictionary describes:

"Being disenfranchised can make you feel like you don't belong or that you have no power. When kids feel disenfranchised in school––when they feel like what they're being asked to learn doesn't matter, or that their teachers don't care about them, that whether they try or not they're going to fail––they stop learning."

Sounds like........?

Use Amazon Spain, just use Amazon UK for the translations.

Also oddly enough Amazon.de  (Germany) is often cheaper for goods - electronics I find often, than both UK or Spanish Amazon & deliver here cheaply. I'm not playing any nonsense waiting games with customs - had that a few times for goods outside of the EU and customs, i'd rather save the hassle and 'use the frictionless trade' - no customs or delays or additional paperwork.

Sorry not related to the OP Cigarettes query - though perhaps of use to someone ;-)

Well apart from those who buy products off Amazon here & want to save some money - perhaps one or two people ;-)

Don't call me darling either - it's patronising.

You may be correct. I know the subject has been raised in the EU parliament, but don't remember if it was ever answered. However, if there is a problem I think it would be at the destination country and not in Spain. Correos don't list tobacco as prohibited:

From memory, which isn't very good at best, you have to pay the import duty at the destination country if they're discovered.

Jim

Back in Late May 2019 I had some herbal medicine shipped from US

The shipment was done via DHL Global

The items arrived in Madrid and as you said I got a message from CORREOS that I need to pay 55 Euros custom duties

This I paid got confirmation that was received but today some over 5 months later no sign of any delivery

What I need to know who do I complain about this poor typical Spanish way of dealing with post?
