Hi everyone I’ve had 2 speeding fines in the last 2 months paid my fines on time said on the letter no points but this morning they’ve sent me letter with a form at the bottom to fill in asking my id and name can anyone tell me why please

No points if the driver is not identified "on the spot". Rearding the letter "they" have sent you. The best answer is, your vehicle is usually driven by various family members.

I’ve filled the form in and sent it back so it should be end of it now is that right just wondering if I’m going to get points taken away as I’m a resident.

Very probably, how many will depend on the severity of the speeding.
If you install the MIDGT app you will be able to see your licence and points.

Try asking the question on the N332 website or Facebook page. These sites are for English speaking people and are run in conjunction with officers of the Guardia Civil and deal with anything to do with driving in Spain. The website also has an English version of the Spanish equivalent of the Highway Code.
