Hello,

I want to put false grass on my balcony, has anyone had any problems with ants etc living in it, ? Is it a good idea or not,

Any advice greatly appreciated

Wouldn 't do it myself, and haven't seen it on balconies, much easier to keep tiles clean.

Hi. We bought our house last August and been out here 6 times since. Our house had false grass on the balcony outside our bedrooms and it has been fine. It looks pretty and never feels too hot or cold and if youlie a towel on it to sunbathe it is comfy too. I dont think that I would have thought to do this but glad that it's there now. 😜

I would just say make sure it can drain well if it pours with rain.  Our neighbours have it on their solarium and I know before we moved next to them they had issues with damp in their bedroom below the solarium.

Our fake grass has holes in it underneath so that the rain can run away.   Had it for many years and very pleased with it but had it fitted professionally.   We did cost it out and it would have cost us more for less expensive grass i.e., shorter and thinner, and we would have had to cart it home and fit it ourselves.   Cheaper in the end to get the professionals in.   Good luck,

That would be my concern
