A neighbour that's on the committee 

Well if we're not there people cart get in at the box to turn the water off

Two things spring to mind.

How often does anyone need to access this box?

You say that there is nowhere else to park. Really ??

Linda,  you do seem to have a bit of a dilemma there.

If I was in your position with nowhere else to park, and providing there was no official notice informing of prohibition of parking a vehicle in that position, I would park there regardless of what the neighbour told you. I would notify the neighbour of your intention just to keep the peace and suggest a notice be placed upon the water meter cupboard informing anyone requiring access to knock on your door.

In the event you are not at home ,its a bit trickier and you should maybe consider not leaving the car in that position during those times.. as I say it's a tricky one.

Hi its on my wall just down from my double gates so if I park from there down I cart get in my gate and it's a foot over my next door gate I cart put it the garden when we're gone home as the house had a big canapé and any way ya would be able to swing it at it. Other corner houses has the box in a way a car will fit. Thanks for the help 

No parking marks. We're on the main road inside a gateted community. I will try and send a picture
