Its official !  The Overseas Supermercados, stockists of Iceland and Waitrose products will open its doors to the public at the former Aldi building at Lomas De Cabo Roig.on Tuesday 4th June.

With Restaurants already opened within the adjacent new Shopping complex, and more to come soon ,it seems like the area is on the way up.

My wife went to the Indian the other night, said it was fantastic. And that's coming from a Brummie where our staple diet is curry!

We only use Iceland as a treat. If anyone tells you the cost of living in Spain is expensive, just ask them where they shop.

Agreed, you would not want to do your "big shop" at Iceland / Waitrose ( Overseas Supermarkets ) as you are paying for the shipping costs from the U.K., much better to shop at the Spanish supermarkets or even Lidl or Aldi, and the local markets for fruit & vegetables bread etc.

Exactly, if I wanted English food I would have stayed in the isle of grim weather.
