We're over for 17 days in August and have a car hired out for a week of it. Was wondering if there is anything you could all recommend to go see or do.
Hiya Rob, you will find you have picked a good area.
Lots of places of Interest in Cabo Roig and within easy reach.
I will start you off with a brilliant Flamenco night floor show at nearby Punta Prima . Type in to Google ' Patio Andaluz ' and go from there .

Less than an hour away is Cartagena - lovely place. Nice marina area, roman ampitheatre. Can do the on/off bus then a boat trip around the bay. Well worth the trip.
Thanks for the replies, we are there a week before we get our car. So will ask our neighbours on our complex for suggestions too. First time driving in Spain so wish me luck 😳🤭.

Driving is no problem, just remember that most cars do not have indicators fitted and at roundabouts a car can be in any lane going any direction from the roundabout.

And positioning of a car neatly between the lines marking a parking bay is a rarity.

Too true, LeckyLes, always surprised by the inability of the small people that drive vehicles the size of a tank who are incapable of using one space, instead parking with the white dividing line running down the middle of the car.

Correct John.
Do that in the big Retail Parks in the UK and it's a £70 demand on the way in the post.
Sorry to derail the thread Rob..
If you have kids with you you could also consider the GoCart track up the N332 at Punta Prima.

No worries LeckyLes, we have kids with us but 2 girls 12+8, so be more interested in la Zenia Boulevard than anything probably 🙄
You could walk down to the orihuela Costa resort hotel. They hire out tennis courts and racquets by the hour. Also have a nice pool and sun beds you can hire. There's an outside bar there too for coffee/drinks.
Campoamor beach has an inflatable obstacle course in the sea.
You can hire pedaloes at Cabo Roig beach, some of them have slides on.
Also at club nautilus (I think it's called) at Cabo Roig marina they do water sports. You can google them.
Free bus from outside Bushwacka pub by blue bridge on the strip. It takes you to aquapolis water park at Torrevieja. Always cheaper to buy tickets in advance before u go. There may be a link to the bus timetable there. The bus clearly states aquapolis only on the front of the bus. It brings back to Cabo Roig and drops off on opposite side of strip by golf shop
I can guarantee girls will love la zenia boulevard 🤣
