Hello, I would like to ask advice about aircon servicing, we have Panasonic inverter units, and they seem not to be operating too well, the air is not as cold as it used to be. Been few years since they had a service. Can anyone advice how much a service might cost, some unit's might need regassing? And and any one suggest a reliable engineer. Past experiences have not been good

I used Vic Bates to install a bedroom unit last year. He was recommended to me by a friend. Really impressed by him and Stuart, price quoted was what we paid, careful and neat work.
We got him back this year to install a new one in our lounge.

Before you go to the expense of getting an aircon engineer open the cover on the unit and check the filter its probably caked with dust this will impair the operation of the unit

I have done that, filters were not so bad!
The units are not working as well as they should, probably need regarding, I'm tired of being ripped off by contractors, if I knew what charges to expect then I would be prepared.
