Have they included your name and details on your wife's S1 forms as a dependant?

If so you can proceed with registering.

  I don’t know because someone is doing it for us but my is coming of me I’m 66 and state pension age my wife isn’t but she’s got her papers back 6 weeks ago.

Ring NHS overseas Health Services , then they can check your records.You  just need you NI number

Not sure why you got someone else to apply for the S1 form, as the application is just a simple phone call. It’s registering the form in Spain that’s the complicated bit!

Each person including dependents get their own S1 form, it could be that whoever applied for you made more emphasis on the dependents form than yours. As she was piggybacking off you they’d need your information as well as hers.

Hi I did phone Newcastle sent me my S1 papers it’s over here I’m waiting for them coming back my wife’s got hers 7weeks ago and she’s piggybacking of me and she’s got hers

So you’ve actually got your S1 you’re just waiting for INSS to issue your documents. Once you’ve applied for your SIP card you don’t get your S1 form back as INSS send them back to the NHS, to complete the registration process. You just hold onto one copy of the S1 form as you are supposed to produce that should you need urgent medical care whilst you are holidaying in the U.K. 

Did your gestor register the S1 forms on line. When we did ours our gestor made an appointment at INSS took our  S1 form passports  and residencia, plus copies of each.He came back with the temporary SIP card which we needed to exchange for the permanent one, a couple of weeks later - once the details have been fully uploaded onto the system.

If your wife has got hers has she actually collected her permanent SIP card yet?  If not it could be worth asking at the salud. Or have you asked your gestor why there’s a delay?

   Thankyou for your help but I’ve been in touch with my gestur and my papers have just come back so we’re going to register tomorrow at medical centre can you tell me how little long is our Parton valid we got a new one in February and doesn’t say when it runs out

As a resident your padron is valid for 5 years, however generally if you need to show it for legal regal you need a certificate that’s has been issued in the past 3 months. There is a different system with each ayuntamiento as to how you can get an updated padron. Some you just take your original and passport and they’ll issue a new one, others you need to make an appointment and others will issue one online. Your SIP card magically stores details of your padron and your tax status.
