Hi All - I am hoping someone will know if there are any pharmacies in Cabo Roig that do INR tests and if so, do you just walk in and book, or if they are able to do it there and then? There also seems to be a variance in how much they charge, but firstly, I would just like to know of a pharmacy that does it. Any advice much appreciated 👍

The health centres do INR testing and it is included in the GHIC agreements.

Hi Bharat

Have you tried the health centre at Cabo Roig, as Elinspain suggested?

INR is an abbreviation of an English language term, and I've noticed that one of the rooms there has a sign saying "sintrom" which seems to be where INR tests are done. The centre is open for emergencies ,24x7 I'm told.

Perhaps if you use the word Sintrom at the centre it may help, but I've no direct experience.

Cheers

Steve

Are there anyone else in the group who have INR tests done. I went earlier, and they asked me to return on the 31st May for a blood test appointment. I find this too late, which resulted me to seek guidance from any one else who has had similar issues.

Hello Steve

Sintrom is the  Spanish name of the  medication you take to thin your blood ..... English equivolent  is Warfarin.

We also have  a room at La Mata Salud where the bloods are taken.

** Info. for  Bharat, ........the tests are always done at 8am Monday  --Fri. Also Did you tell them it was too late and ask for an earlier visit. ?

Cheers
