I am coming to Cabo roig Oct 3 for 5 weeks, have the flights booked and car rented, i am primarily coming on a golfing trip and intend to play 4 times per week. I will have friends joining me from time to time. All i need now is a property. Ideally i need a 2 or 3 bed property in Cabo roig which is handy for restaurants. Access to a swimming pool is also a bonus. Any advice on who to contact in relation to trustworthy property rental is appreciated.

Also looking to rent a bike for the duration as i like to cycle to keep fit, or is it better just to buy one?

I have been to Cabo Roig a couple of times before to play golf so have contacts in that area. Any advice on hiring clubs and buying balls is welcome.

Thanks

There are a number of good holiday let websites that only carry licensed (legal) lets. Spain-holiday.com allows direct contact with the owner beforehand and no booking fees as you deal direct. Vrbo.com charges booking fees but has a lot of property in the area. There are several other advertising sites. Also Facebook pages advertising lets, just ensure whatever you book has a Tourist License number - it isn't a legal let without one and social media pages don't run checks as official booking websites have to do. A License number for this area will take this format VT-123456-A (obviously the six numbers are unique to the property)

You will need to explain in a message before you book the property that whilst you will be there for 5 weeks there will be others joining you for shorter periods during your stay.  The owner/property manager will need full details of each person and the dates they will be in the property. Each person must be registered on arrival, full passport details taken and entered onto the Spanish tourist register (just as a hotel would do on your arrival).  That is a legal requirement under the Tourist License laws.
