Can anyone help me obtain a digital certificate please. Jim did a fantastic post on getting one online but it’s gone now. Alternatively can I get one in person.

Hi Wizzy2,
You get your Digital Certificate from your Town Hall (Ayuntamiento). Because of Covid-19 restrictions, you'll probably need to make an appointment first.
We got ours a couple of months ago - from memory, we had to take photo ID, so we took our passports.

Hi ldp,
I emailed my Town Hall, asked them for an appointment to get our digital certificates and would they confirm what we needed to take with us. It's best to ask your own Town Hall what their requirements are, because it may vary, but they will certainly need photographic ID, so we took our passports.

i got mine by following steps on this site

it was pretty clear what to do and there are maps of locations where you can go and confirm your identity
