I have a small apartment in Cabo Roig and am looking  to connect power.

I will only be at the property 10 weeks out of the year and have NO plans to rent it out.

Iberdrola have offered me a 3 year fixed contract, not sure if this is the norm, or not?

They are suggesting the following contract...

"ONDICIONES PARTICULARES

PRODUCTOS Y SERVICIOS QUE SE CONTRATAN Plan Hogar

Electricidad

CONDICIONES DEL SUMINISTRO

Tipo de contrato: Normal

Tensión: 1X230 V

Tarifa de acceso: Tarifa Peaje 2.0A, modo 1

Potencia Contratada: 4600 W

CUPS: ES0021000012018883WT

Empresa Distribuidora: IBERDROLA DISTRIBUCION ELECTRICA, S.A.U.

Atención Averías de Red: 900171171

CONDICIONES ECONÓMICAS

PRECIO DEL SUMINISTRO DE ELECTRICIDAD

Término de Potencia: 45,367548 €/kW y año

Término de Energía: 0,154455 €/kWh"

Not sure that i need 4.6kw though.. ?

I assume that i pay a standing order and only pay for the elec, i actually use?

Does the prices in their quote look reasonable or is there a better deal to be had out?

Also, the property needs to have the meter installed once supply is connected - does the company do this or do i need to get a sparky in?

My fuse box in the property is already installed..

Thanks for any advice

We purchased our apartment end of November we pay monthly the apartment has been empty since 11Dec to the 30 March we have paid €57 Jan €37 Feb and €27 March we are totally confused .seems a lot more exspensive than the uk. The electric was turned off on the 11th and turned back on 30March.
