Hi everyone!

I am just looking for a little guidance if I can?  We have a holiday apt.  (2 bed) in Cabo Roig and havent been there since around mid October.

Our electricity bill ranges from €54 - €65 every month even when we are not there.  Is this normal as it seems really very high for non use.  For example my last bill just received is for €64.69 for month of November and we havent been there!

Our water is €74.30 is this normal also even if we are not there using the water (plants are being fed by timer though)

Is this normal? Thanks a million!

Hi dee I'm in villamartin  and was having same problem.my water is similar and we aren't even watering plants-very little of bill is on usage-it's sanitation etc. I've made a few changes to electric which might help though-i changed maximum wattage on apt to 3.45 which reduces monthly charges massively(I'm literally running TVs,Sky,air conditioning,3lights and kettle so don't worry about it tripping!). I also changed to night plan-reduces electric prices from 10pm to 12pm. We have seen bill reduce from 80euro to 21 we month(we leave fridge on when we aren't here and that's included in that). I also got a timer for water boiler and it is on for two hours between 4 and 6 am and it gives us enough water for showers, dishes etc all day.hope this helps

Deirdre
