Yes
On the advice of my local post office where I have my PO box I prefaced my address with "Oficine de Correos"
Thank you, just to confirm, I need to use Amazon.es to purchase anything?
You can buy from Amazon UK but it may cost you more in postage.
There is some cross feed though so sometimes you can buy on Amazon UK but the item will actually come from. es with lower local postage.

Hi, I only use Amazon.UK as the es site is of course all in Spanish. If you put your delivery address as default on the account, when you click on an item it will tell you on the right-hand side if it can be delivered to Orihuela Costa. I have ordered many things and delivery to my house has been quick. Sometimes delivery is by a courier and other times by Correos.Things often come from Amazon in other countries. It's an amazing service and I don't know how they do it. Full marks to whoever designed and created their website!

Post offices do vary, and I suggest you ask yours if they would be willing to sign to accept delivery of an item. Some will, some won't.
Amazon.es pages are easy to translate on most browsers with one click.
Amazon.de is even easier as it translates from German automatically.
If you use Amazon.es, you will have the option of using the secure Amazon Locker boxes pick-up which are located in Quesada and Guardamar, possibly elsewhere now too.

That's useful info, AMK. However, I use an iPad, Safari, Google, and can't see where I could click to translate the Amazon.es page. Do you have any idea, please?

Hi there,
A question about the Amazon Boxes. What is the largest size item do they accomodate and how long can it be left there before pick up.

Very easy to do, and you only need to do it once on your iPad and then, when you are in a Spanish site, click on the icon up at top right and chose Translation from the options shown.
The only faff is when you change the page, you may need to run it again.
Here is the instruction link you need and what it looks like, once it’s in place. Good luck !
