Most Valencia ITV stations now operate on an appointment only basis in which case (or at least theoretically), including check-in and paying it should only take about 30 minutes.

How easy?

For a properly maintained vehicle extremely!

thx, I have an appointment booked, however I have seen long queues when driving past this year, and parking areas full??? not confidant of a quick in and out.

I would strongly suggest, if you haven't done so already, to have the car serviced and pre-checked prior to the ITV.  If your car fails at the inspection stage you will not be allowed to drive it away and will need to get a tow truck to take your car to a garage.

thx, unaware of this if fails, I'm fairly confident should pass, regular serviced and not that old.
