Urgent - Need To Know Which Police Station In Calpe To Report Violent Incident

Hi All

My brother was attacked a few hours ago by an ex-tenant and his father .The Police has requested he go to the station and make a statement . He's been to one police station and they said to go to another which was closed.

Can you advise which is the correct Calpe police station that is open so that my brother can make a statement? My brother is physically exhausted and obviously a bit of a nervous wreck with what has happened.

I would call his travel insurance hotline. They should be able to help with this kind of stuff as well. Or any sort of concierge service he may have as part of his credit card program.

My brother just got to the police station but they said he needs a translator to make a statement . Does anyone know where we can get a translator ? My brother is willing to pay.

PS. He will need to make the statement tomorrow as he's flying out on Monday back to the UK.

Ask the police for a translator, they are supposed to supply one on request.

Apparently they will only provide a translator if my brother is being accused of a crime.

We do not need a professional translator just someone who can convert my brothers English to Spanish language. My brother is willing to pay anyone for their time who can assist. If you can assist tomorrow, please private message me.

The interpreter has to be sitting next to my brother in the police station while he makes the statement

If anyone local in Calpe who speaks Spanish is willing to take 30 mins- 1 hour of their time to just verbally translate into Spanish what my brother is saying , he's willing to pay you 100 euros.

Please private email me and I'll give you his mobile number. He's staying Hotel Bahia Calpe and will be there all of today and Sunday.

I asked my solicitor and he said its the alleged offender only.

Anyhow , thanks everyone for your support but my brother has managed to find someone in his hotel to help him tomorrow (what a stressful few days its been).
