Hi all, in need of help, had a holiday pitch booked at the Calp-Mar camp site for 3 weeks with our motorhome from 1st July, however the motorhome has been stolen, as we have the ferry booked to Bilbo we need somewhere to stay for 3 weeks, can anyone advise who to contact to rent somewhere, 2 adults, wife and l(both seniors) and still want to drive down to calpe, date is a bit flexible

Won't use airbnb due to all the negative comments and rip offs they have done

Have you contacted the camp site to tell them of the loss of your motorhome? I woulld phone or email & ask them for any suggestions they might have or any rental properties they could offer you as a replacement for your stay. As someone else suggested retal bungalows might be available.

Hi all, spoke to the Calp-Mar camp site and told them that our motorhome was stolen and they said they only have bungalows to rent, as the cost of the bungalows is far too expensive, we asked for our deposit to be refunded, however they won't refund us any money, so maybe we will go elsewhere and avoid calp

The camp site have offered you an alternative, even though its too expensive for you It's very unlikely that they would have to return your deposit , unless you have any signed paperwork to say that they would do that. I think you should look elsewhere & hope to find something that is within your price range. If you are from the UK, you have many months before you can travel to Spain so you have time to find yourselves alternative accomodation for later this year.
Hope you find somewhere to suit.....
