What is urb. Empedrola like?

We (a Dutch couple) have found a villa for sale in Empedrola1. I wonder if anybody has some info on this urbanisation. We already learned that navigating Empedrola is kind of interesting with the numbers and letters.
Is it a popular/ safe neighbourhood?
Any troubles with moist/rainfall/pests or other issues?
Is it a residential or more holiday stay urb.?
Is it easy to get a rental license?
There seem to be good walking tracks.
