Hi everyone need some advice on S1 form me and my wife are residents here in spain we are registered for healthcare and have sip cards my wife is on my S1 at the moment she is at retirement age next month will she need her own S1 or can she stay on mine thanks in advance

Hi ferryman,

When your wife reaches retirement age, she must have her own S1.  You can apply now by emailing the Overseas Healthcare Team at:

[email protected]

She needs to apply for own SIP card. The main reason being that if anything should happen to you then your healthcare status would be cancelled, including any others involved.
