Leroy Merlin, Aki, larger ferreterias and even some electrical shops, all sell them. It won't be Calor gas but butane.

Just personal preference but I wouldn't use one myself as they produce a lot of moisture and you need adequate ventilation because of the fumes they give off. Ok for a quick boost, but I wouldn't use as a main source of heat. Better to use air-conditioning if you have it.

I have used only a mobile gas heater for the last 13 years.   Yes, if adequate ventilation is not available, there can be a moisture but if you use a dehumidifier you should not have a problem.   I use the small containers that take the dehumidifier granules that are available in any ferreteria.

Also, if the heater itself is in good condition there should not be any problem with fumes.   I certainly do not get fumes from mine.   I do have air conditioning units but very rarely use them as the electricity that they use can make your bills quite high.

Modern air conditioning units are the cheapest way to heat your home, you actually get more energy out in the form of heat than you use in electricity.

Portable gas heaters give off carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide and water vapour which increases the risk of mould and dust mites, none of which are helpful if you have respiratory problems.

Thanks all for replies, have purchased heater from Leroy Merlin, do not have aircon in rented apartment, will make sure have adequate ventilation whilst using.
