Hi all,
New to this, just today, We are due to view a few properties soon on CI. In advance of that we have some questions:
1. Apart from the ‘Phase 2’ no Habitation Certificates’ issue, is there any other similar issues we should be aware of, such as avoiding certain parts? Noise, dogs barking, crime, etc etc?
2. We read a 2016 article re CI which mentioned issues with owners possibly having to contribute to unfinished builders work costs on the Urb; has this now been resolved?
3. Do properties sell quickly there? or is it a buyers market?
4. Are Communal Fees same for all or dependent on property size etc?
5. Anyone have any useful info/comments on build quality? subsidence? Flooding issues etc? I’m assuming the properties are the usual non insulated, single skin, concrete frame/hollow brick infill structure.
6. We understand it can get cold coz of the elevation; but wondered if it was windy too or if the mountains gave shelter from that.
Any help given much appreciated. You know what it’s like when yre trying to buy; hints tips insights and insider info are crucial.
