Can anyone help/recommend a good Notary/Solicitor in Castalla to help with Spanish will?

Hello, I need to organise a Spanish will for myself and husband (should have done this a long time ago really), but I have had some conflicting advice - can anyone help/recommend a good Notary/Solicitor in Castalla who speaks English as most of the transaction will need to be done by e mail/phone as I can only visit Spain in August when most are on holiday.

I was initially told that you must have a Spanish will but have since been informed that you can add your Spanish property and beneficiaries to this to your English Will as a Codicil and Spanish law will honour this. Is this correct?

There is an excellent English speaking solicitor in Villena, which is just up the road from you. His name is Carlos Hernandez Cantos and his phone number is 966 154 368 and email address is [email protected] He has done conveyancing and wills for us and several of our friends and I was very pleased at how efficient and reasonable he is. His English is perfect.

Anthony Ward,

Next door to the No Problem Bar in Castalla International, he does the will,s in Spanish and English as its required by law, very nice guy and very very helpfull.
