Any good Spanish hardware/DIY shop or a China/Chinese shop as the item is not for permanent use, I had a UK extension lead and what I did was change the UK plug to a Spanish plug, it comes in very handy, especially when we have had family and friends from the UK visit and they do not have enough adaptors for all there Hi-Tec equipment they bring over!! phones/Ipads/whatever? Remember adaptors are not for permanent use, like some people think. Good luck, stay safe and healthy my friend. ps You made a very good point about the warranty, thank you

As stated by Peter above, changing over to a 2 pin plug ( 75 cents in a Chinese shop) is the simplest method. I actually brought over a couple of UK multi point extension towers, changed the plugs over to 2 pin and simply plug my UK appliances into these... which would protect your warranty because you wouldn't be changing the plugs on the appliances

Just out of interest, how likely are you to send your tin opener back, along with all the hassle, say in 8 months time if it stopped working?

When we moved to Spain we changed all the plugs over to Spanish 2 pins on our new and old items. As it happens, we brought a brand new electric can opener with us but for what it cost certainly wouldn't be worth the hassle of packaging and sending back if it stopped working. Its still working now after 7 years of use on a Spanish plug (plugs bought from local hardware stores)

Adapters are ok and I have used them but they can be unsafe.

Thank you for your reply much appreciated we moved here 19 years ago and brought our electric can opener with us many years old by then UK  and only recently stopped working the teeth must have worn down its that a joke or not ha ha

thank you , understand where you are coming from have sent for two adaptors anyway as they are useful at times only 7.00 euros with the postage so not a fat lot all best to you nice to chat thank you keep safe hope the weather better soon thanks you
