Hi Sheila,
Medications manufactured in, or distributed by, UK companies cannot be sent to the EU since Brexit, but it's not illegal for individuals to send prescription drugs for their own use. It does, however, depend on the policy of the individual shipping companies, so you would need to check with them. Unless it's a medication that can't be sourced in Spain, it's probably more cost effective to speak to your GP here in Spain, or your local pharmacy.
Kind regards,
Kim

Becareful... I had a friend who's brother is a Doctor in Germany.. He sent her some anti-depression tablets from Germany to Luxembourg.
Both ended up with a drugs trafficking marker on their passports and a lot of grief from the German Authorities.
You can travel with prescribed drugs but you can't post them.. It appears to have been setup like so because there as different prices from the pharmaceutical companies per country and also different legislation of its use / amount given etc.

Hi Heathers and welcome to the forum!
You've posted in someone else's thread about medication. Ideally, you should have created a new post, but as you're new to the forum, I expect you haven't got the swing of things yet.
Property purchase in Spain is typically faster than in the UK, although there are many things that can affect this, e.g. is the property a new build or resale? Is it as originally built, or has it been altered/extended? Have any alterations been carried out with planning permission and have they been updated at the Land Registry? These matters should be discovered during searches, but if you're aware of any additions to the property you're purchasing, make sure you mention them to your lawyer - it's important that your lawyer establishes that they are listed with the Land Registry and any irregularities are corrected at the cost of the vendor, not you, before completion.
In 2016, from offer to completion, our purchase took 8 weeks. Of course, Covid-19 restrictions are affecting the ability to check required information with Town Halls and we are now approaching the August peak holiday season in Spain, which can also cause delays. Ultimately, the lawyers should discuss completion with their respective clients and agree a mutually acceptable date.
Kind regards,
Kim

Hi,
I've been having my meds (diabetic) posted over from the uk every month for a couple of years. I thought Brexit might cause problems, but not so far.
My friends in the uk just package them up, pay the postage at the post office usually around £10 for a shoe box size. I think they have to tick a medication box on the declaration and that's it.
So far, 6 months, everything good. Get here within 7 to 10 days. Never had any problems.

Hi Nick
If you have been receiving NHS medication for past few years then I assume you are a resident so how come you are still registered with a UK doctor? I thought NHS use was stopped due to becoming a resident?
Regards
Pauline
I never told them I left the uk, still have me registered at our old uk address. I suspect it’ll end at some point, but given how much I’ve paid in over the years I think they owe it me!

As the NHS is a residency based system, not contribution based, what you think is irrelevant.
You've chosen to live in Spain your healthcare and treatments should come from Spain.
