For questions of that nature you should always start with the website of your town hall.

In this case it's 21st and 22nd October:

21st and 22nd October there may be some info at the Town Hall as to which bars are involved.

Hi,

As we are in the area looking at properties this could be interesting for us to come through on those days to see what's going on, but, could you explain to me what exactly is going in? I'm assuming that it's all to do with eating Tapas, which I love..is it a sort of food festival?

Debbie 😁

A number of the bars join in the tapa's route. There is a little train (on the road) that follows the route.

People then vote for the best tapas and the bar wins a prize.

The bars involved usually have a flyer which shows who is involved and last years' showed what each bar was making. This is usually on the Ayuntamiento deCatral website just before the dates. http://www.catral.es/

Not all the bars are involved, usually about 12.

It is not a food festival.

When you get down to the nitty gritty, it's just a pub crawl. You get a small beer and a tapa at each bar on the route for €2.

Last year was the second year I took part going round the bars that took part, they have a poster displaying the Tapas Route. Last year 18  bars took part, no English but this year The Village Inn is taking part. Will be interesting to see what their taps are. You get a card and the bar stamps it when you buy Tapas and drink for 2 euros. Last year I went on the little train but I didn’t find out where it started from. So looking forward to trying out the Tapas next weekend.
