We live in Essex close to the Dartford Crossing and need a Van with a man, we will help load the van with furniture and household items in Essex and need this driven to Catral Spain. We are looking to do this in the next 4 - 6 weeks. Cost please to cover everything.

Since Brexit and the introduction of import taxes and official documentation it appears this has put paid to the "Man with Van" trade.
A lot of the time it simply isn't worth the hassle anymore and easier to just buy in Spain.
There was a thread about this that ended up with many replies but apparently no nearer to a definitive answer.

I replied to a similar question Tenterden.

Cheryl is spot on, man with a van is now long gone and the paperwork to import your goods is a minefield.

We used White and Company, a national UK removals company, earlier this year to move our goods to Spain and they handled all the details and paperwork on our behalf. It was seamless and I can highly recommend them. In the first instance I would speak to Jonathan or Debs at their Lancaster office for advice and direction to your nearest depot.

Hope all goes well.

Another option is Max Mover who have a lot of 5 star reviews. They have a Facebook page with their contact details. Their quote to move me was barely more than my last move which was just from Suffolk to Lincolnshire.
