Late TIE renewal

Notwithstanding the issues with securing appointments doubtless there will be many who, either through ignorance or inertia, will fail to renew their TIE's within the allotted grace period of 90 days however potentially that could have serious and lasting consequences as explained here:

If you know anyone in that situation best give them a kick in the backside!

If you know anyone in that situation best give them a kick in the backside!

Age in Spain recommend doing screen prints of some of the instances where you've tried to get an appointment but there are none available and bringing them with you when you do eventually get an appointment. This may mitigate any late renewal penalties.

The situation is also exacerbated by some WA TIE holders being unable to renew their TIEs until they (TIEs) expire.

I would suggest that if your having problems getting TIE appointments that you complete the survey at ageinspain https://ageinspain.org/2025/08/13/tie-exchange-appointments/
