Very helpful member
Hi,
We used Right Move in Quesada.
They were very quick and efficient and don't charge a bomb, ours were 70€ each last year which included taking us to the foreigners office in Alicante to sign the forms and then to collect the TIE card.

Hello
When you exchange ( not renew)your old residencia ,you will receive the new TIE card as a replacement. Madcatwomen suggested a company that could help you. as it requires several forms to be completed & other paperwork/photos/photocopies to be provided.
It will also mean 2 separate visits to Alicante so, it makes sense to enlist help with this.
I assume this is now clearer...
Cheers

As I asked to renew, clearly mine had expired.

Let’s start this off from the beginning.
Heather you are asking advice on how to “renew an expired residencia”.
There are a number of different answers you will get as if differs according to your nationality and if you are British if you obtained your residency before or after Brexit. There are different procedures to follow, different forms to complete and if you have come over on a visa there are different documents you need to produce, you could even be wanting to exchange your card to a different type. So without knowing your own circumstances we can’t answer the question you have asked.
Can we have a bit more information please?
Firstly you say your residency has “expired” Is that because you moved away from Spain and now want to take up residency again. Or do you just need to “renew” your card because it is approaching the end date on the card.
What type of passport do you hold? EU/British/Other?
First of all what type of residencia do you have? - is it the green style residencia or a TIE photo card?
What date did you first obtain your residency?
What is the expiry date on the card?
Are you still living at the same address?
We need this information to help you, otherwise we’d just have to point you in the direction of a gestor.
