Hi,

My unvaccinated grandson flies into Spain tomorrow. After a lab delay, he just got his clear CoVid test result. But when he tries to fill out the Spanish Health Form, he keeps getting the message - The responsible person in the group must be 18 years or over, Please check the date entered.

He and his girlfriend are both aged 17. Nobody else is travelling with them. Does anyone know how to get around this issue please.

The cost of the call depends on the current contracted rates of your telephone operator. Your telephone operator will apply the corresponding rate for the call to Spain according to the country of origin. For further information on the rate applied, please check with your telephone operator.

Just found this in the FAQ’s.

The way I read it  - the form has to be filled out by an adult even though they’re not travelling

Thank you Lynn. I missed that FAQ, myself.

He did tick the box that says:  Please, mark here if “Passenger Data” you have just filled in are for a minor or dependent person in my charge. Then filled out his father´s details, but still got the message about needing to be 18.

I think because he clicked the family FCS instead of the individual FCS button the system was expecting someone in the group to be over 18. But am not sure. When I get to the bottom of it, I will post an update here.

Thank you again for your highly relevant help.

Hi Julie,

When my husband and I travelled back to the UK last year, I initially tried to complete the Family form, but it wouldn't work - and we're both definitely over 18! 😄  After several failed attempts, I completed Individual forms instead and they worked perfectly first time.

Kind regards,

Kim
