Hello everyone- can anyone recommend a Pellet Heater supplier and installer - that does a good job and sells a good quality Pellet Heater at a reasonable cost?

Thank you for your recommendations in advance.

Hi our neighbour bought one from the shop in Quesada, turn left before the arches, it’s about 1/2 way up the road on the LHS, he bought an expensive one - best to read up on different makes etc.  they come survey where it has to be installed.

He built himself a sturdy plinth to put the burner on.

Their are other places to try but this is the only one I’ve seen working.  I’ll try and get the make for you over the weekend.

Hi it’s a Bronpi large round one with the ash tray to the front.   Cost was around 2000e then installation etc.  depending on the size of your lounge.

Hi MORF,

We bought a Bronpi pellet burner in February 2020.  I got quotes from Ambifuego (Los Montesinos), Ambience (Ciudad Quesada) and Budget Burners (La Marina).  We opted for Budget Burners, not just because of the cheapest quote, but because we had the greatest confidence in their recommendations.  For example, I didn't want the pipe inside the house, so Budget Burners recommended a stainless steel, double-skinned chimney pipe, suitable for external wear.  Supply and installation of the "Nina" corner model last winter, including the more expensive external chimney, was €2,100.

We have been very pleased with the burner and also Budget´s customer service.  They took time to show us how to use the digital display (this model also comes with a remote control, although we never use it) and how to clean it.  They also carry out an annual service for €100, where they strip it down completely and give it a thorough clean.  They have a website and also a Facebook site:

https://budgetburners.com/

Kind regards,

Kim

Thank you Kimmy, for your helpful advise and reference for the advised supplier.

I have tried to call into the supplier at Quesada (near the gym under the arches 1st street on the left) several times but they are always closed.

It is quite a difficult choice but I will now try the supplier you mention.

thank you

Just a word of guidance.  I bought my insert  pellet burner from Bricodepot (owned by B&Q) in Crevillente. That choice was determined by the height of the existing fireplace opening. They have a number of options on show in the store.

I found that the guy who came to commission it knew very little about the product and as an Engineer I knew more about it than he did.  The instructions were in Spanish with no option of English and the write up on how to set the timer was abysmal when it was translated.

So be warned.

Good on you Classic man,
a good piece of advise.

I will continue my search and make sure not to contact Brico Depot.

I have found the same problems as you mention quite prevalent at Le Roy Merlin outlets as well. So will stay clear of the large National distributors and look for the smaller sales / installers which also helps the small business people survive.

It is pretty much the same advice that applies to all these big stores.  They have huge stocks which they sell, but very few of them know anything about what they are selling.

There does not appear to be much wrong with the product, but I might come unstuck should I need anything technical fixing.  Like everything these days there is a bunch of electronics involved.  Everything else I can fix but electronics are not my forte.

I disagree, I bought a Canadien from Brico Depot, DIY install, photos and info to SAT Company as given by BricoDepot, and they sent me full commssioning guidance instructions and registered the product for Warranty,

Had a slight problem when I had to change pellet supplier, it would seem despite the Certfications they are all slightly different and need to reset the Air burners speeds to maximise, again contacted the SAT and they offered an engineered based in Elche who was in the area to call in and set up, ,

he arrived within an hour or two, reset main combustion fan for optimum flame and all good, 4 years in now and working fine,

Charged me 55€

For interest the service agent recommended  BY the Brico Depot SAt from Elche was Integral Services Jovic SL, (Jorge Sanchez),   Mobile 692 966 285,

talking to the service agent, he says they service the complete range of Stoves irrespective of model or Supplier,,   ,
