I pay 16 cents day and 11 cents night no hidden extras and my contract is until March 26 is that good. Thank you.

Hi rds1234,

That sounds very similar to our energy contract - we're on Iberdrola's Plan Noche until 2026 and have not seen any sharp increases in our monthly bills.

Kind regards,

Kim

I am afraid that what you have been told is correct. The government has imposed a tariff on the gas purchased to produce electricity and you pay on every KW you use. It has increased my bill by 35percent.

Hi Zeeton

Our Catralense Cooperativa Bill for this month (the highest we've paid since we moved in June 21).

Thank you very helpful, interesting that you used 387kwh which is lower than our usage and now 0.15 per kwh plus RDA (government price cap) and agree with comment re reducing you potentia to 5.7. Cheers👍

Hi

Just received my Iberdrola bill. Usage €113 then Regulatory charge of €119 euros. The charge is higher than my bill. Total bill to be paid this month is €205.11, ludicrous! I changed my tariff two months ago from Same all day onto the night tariff. Bad move……………..Told the regulatory charge will be charged until May 2023 meaning I’ll be paying over €1000 plus more in charges. Furious

I live in the Villena campo and my bills carry exactly the same amount as yours!

Practically double what I usually pay.

Hi Cat Roc,

Is your bill for a residential property?  Your potencia of 9.2kw is high, unless you have a very large property with exceptional power requirements?

We have a 3 bed, 3 bath, detached house with private pool, which can be run without supply interruptions, on a potencia of only 5.75kw.  You may want to talk to your energy provider about reducing your contracted potencia, as one way of reducing your bills 🤔

Kind regards,

Kim

Thank you Kim, I will do that.

We have the same size property as you, so it's helpful to know what we can operate at for potencia.

Regards

Cate

We finally found the office in Almoradi and what joy. The staff were lovely but as usual, could not understand our problem. ...id not know the percentage but we should have been warned.  I feel we were deliberately misled and shall be contacting my solicitor.

My husband pointed out that nowhere on the bill was there a record of the readings.  He was told he could read the meter but given a new box was put in at the end of our road and is shared with others, we were denied access by Cooperativa Electrica Catral our previous suppliers. I think this is a case of being given a Licence to print money......................

Hi yes it is correct, we made our way to Iberdrola in Almoradi too , it’s a tax that everyone has to pay in Spain, the staff were very helpful and explained everything, it’s got to be a winner, wouldn’t like to pay the prices in the UK ,would you  , we have no gas too , so just pay it
