Hi, my name is John. I have recently bought a flat in Cocentaina and now enjoy coming out here for holidays several times a year. Can anyone recommend any social groups which meet in this town. I am interested in walking, local culture and cuisine.

Morning John,
There is an Intercambio every Tuesday morning at the community centre at 10.30am. Well it's really a coffee morning with a little spanish thrown in. Very friendly mixed group. They also meet in Raspa de Edu's on a Thu night but this is more about the spanish with some staying for a meal afterwards. Going on the Whatsapp groups will let you know whats going on too!

Hi Peter. I am in Cocentaina for the next few weeks until mid-July. I would very much like to come to the coffee morning next Tuesday but cannot seem to track down the community centre or "centro comunitario" on Google Maps. Hi John, at roundabout near Cooperative turn here (see pics). There is a car park next to cafe can get busy but plenty of room on streets around if full.
I will be there wearing a baseball cap as usual. Hope to see you there next Tue at 10.30am.
